With spring training just around the corner, it’s prospect-ranking season, and Pinstripe Alley is planning on getting in on the fun with a list of our own. However, our Padres sister site Gaslamp Ball introduced a new way for the community to be involved as well.

We are well aware of how much you all enjoy the wealth of fascinating prospects in the Yankees’ elite system. So here is an easy way for you to let us know your opinions! Rather than asking people to come up with long rankings and making tough toss-up decisions toward the bottom of the list, the website All Our Ideas simplifies the process.

You will be given two Yankees prospects, and all you have to do is decide who you think is the better player. There are a lot of names in here, as I wanted to be just about as thorough as possible—66 in total. Players need to still have rookie status to be eligible, so while Aaron Judge and Tyler Austin still qualify, Chad Green and Luis Cessa do not. Basically, you can go on ranking these for as long as you want and constantly come up with different combinations of players to compare. As Gaslamp Ball said, it’s hard to stop once you get going!

So have at it, and feel free to comment with your extended thoughts on the Yankees’ prospects.
