Tanaka will make his spring training debut today; Refsnyder will also play 3B.

ESPN New York | Wallace Matthews: Masahiro Tanaka is all set to make his spring training debut today. The Yankees have intentionally moved him along slowly so far, after Tanaka had offseason surgery to remove a bone spur in his elbow. He will pitch two innings or throw 35 pitches.

NJ.com | Brendan Kuty: The Yankees don't exactly have a solid backup third baseman at the moment, so they plan on testing Rob Refsnyder and Starlin Castro there during spring training. Refsnyder will play third in today's game. His defense has been questionable in the past, so tune in to see how he does.

MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: Over the offseason, Brian Cashman made it clear that he was open to dealing anyone on the team if the price was right. Andrew Miller and Brett Gardner's names floated around quite a bit, and both are happy to still be on the team. Cashman also indicated that there are plenty of players he inquired after that the fans did not end up hearing about.

LoHud Yankees Blog | Chad Jennings: One of the Yankees' top prospects, Jorge Mateo, has already made a splash after hitting a triple and home run during two of the Yankees' spring training games.
