New York Post | Kevin Kernan: Mark Teixeira feels good about the Yankees' chances in 2016, the addition of Starlin Castro, and his ability to put together another solid season after returning from injury last year.

Wall Street Journal | Jared Diamond: Alex Rodriguez clarified his comments about retiring when his contract is up in two years. New York Daily News | Mark Feinsand: Jacoby Ellsbury isn't quite ready to return to action after being hit in the wrist with a ball, Larry Rothschild insists there is nothing wrong with Masahiro Tanaka despite his rough outing this week, and Joe Girardi apparently calls Gary Sanchez "Sanchy" because reasons.

Asbury Park Press | David Willis: A New Jersey legislator wants Comcast to restore the YES Network to its subscribers or compensate them for missing Yankees games. He believes that cable customers shouldn't have to suffer and/or change cable providers because two multimillion dollar companies insist on fighting over dollars.
