Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

ESPN New York | Matt Bove: Though the Yankees have no interest in signing any free agents, Justin Upton would be a good fit for the team and could replace Carlos Beltran when his contract expires. | Ryan Hatch: CC Sabathia posted a video of his first bullpen session of 2016. As far as workouts go, he thinks he is "light years" ahead of where he has been in the past at this time of the year.

LoHud Yankees Blog | Chad Jennings: Yesterday the Yankees claimed outfielder Lane Adams off of waivers from the Royals, and then designated Ronald Torreyes for assignment. The Yankees had acquired Torreyes as part of the trade with the Dodgers earlier in the week.

BP Bronx | Ben Diamond: It looks like the Yankees are gearing up to rebuild during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
