ESPN New York | Andrew Marchand: When CC Sabathia was first put on the disabled list with inflammation in his right knee, there was some speculation that he would not pitch again this season. Now he's expected to rejoin the Yankees' rotation Wednesday and they'll use a six-man rotation moving forward. He threw a sim game yesterday wearing a brace and reportedly felt great.

NJ.com | Brendan Kuty: Mark Teixeira has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to August 27th, and while he's still on crutches for the bone bruise in his shin, he's reportedly confident that he will play again before the season ends.

LoHud Yankees Blog | Chad Jennings: A closer look at the Yankee prospects that will be playing in the Arizona Fall League and the decision behind those choices.
