Wild Card matchups, the pursuit of Ackley, bullpen openings, and Price in the off-season

Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

NJ.com | Ryan Hatch: With all of the Astros, Rangers, and Twins in the Wild Card mix (among others), the Yankees could see a number of different possible starters in a hypothetical one-game playoff. Who might these teams use?

NY Post | George King: The Yankees first tried to acquire Dustin Ackley from the Mariners three years, and although it took awhile to get him, they're certainly glad he's on board.

MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: Since Adam Warren is now in the rotation, there more opportunities have emerged out of the bullpen for veteran Andrew Bailey and the nigh-endless group of young relievers.

NY Post | Joel Sherman: Pending free agent David Price is awfully reminiscent of 2008 CC Sabathia entering the market, and prime CC led the Yankees to a championship. Despite the similarities, is the Yankees' assessment of Price unfairly influenced by the somewhat questionable contracts that they have issued over the past several years?
