USA Today | Bob Nightengale: Although the Yankees have been struggling as of late, and have even fallen out of the lead in the AL East, New York still has one fewer loss than the Blue Jays. Hal Steinbrenner still considers the division the Yankees' to lose.

New York Post | George King: Michael Pineda is scheduled for a 45-pitch rehab start with the Trenton Thunder on Sunday. Based on the time that the right-hander has missed, that may be the only tune up he needs before rejoining the Yankees' rotation.

ESPN | Wallace Matthews: Alex Rodriguez has cooled off a bit as of late. Does that mean he needs a day off? The Yankees' DH says he doesn't, but it probably won't come facing lefty David Price on Friday.

Beyond the Box Score | Michael Bradburn: Masahiro Tanaka has had a problem with home runs this year, but Yankee Stadium isn't especially to blame.
