Prospects make headlines, and some thoughts on the Yankees' rotation.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

MLB.com | Jonathan Mayo: Two Yankees prospects (and 23 of MLB.com's Top 100 Prospects) will be going to the 2015 Futures Game in Cincinnati. Aaron Judge will play for Team USA and Gary Sanchez will suit up for the World Team. For those asking about Luis Severino, keep in mind that he just played in the Futures Game last year, and repeats don't always happen. It's no slight that he's not going. Anyway, congrats to Judge and Sanchez!

BP Bronx | Kenny Ducey: Does Ivan Nova's return to the Yankees' rotation make it a strength again?

LoHud | Chad Jennings: Chase Whitley recently underwent Tommy John surgery, so it was quite inspiring for him to watch Nova's successful return to the mound on Wednesday afternoon up close at Yankee Stadium himself.

MLB.com | Yankees on Demand: Low-A Charleston shortstop Jorge Mateo is one of the Yankees' most oft-discussed prospects, so this eight and a half minute video feature on the 20-year-old should be a must-watch, if not only for the awesome glimpses of his amazing speed.

NY Daily News | Daniel Popper: Closer Andrew Miller threw off flat ground on Wednesday, his first time throwing since going on the DL on June 10th. He's still about a week from taking the mound, but he's getting closer.
