The Yankees are now without their closer, but in a bit of good news, Ivan Nova says he's ready to come back to the majors.

New York Post | Dan Martin and Brian Lewis: The Yankees might have lost yesterday to the Nationals, but one winner in the New York dugout was Brendan Ryan.  Ryan returned to the Yankee lineup after missing the first two months of the season, and while he played his usual stellar defense, he began his year with a surprisingly stellar offensive game.

LoHud Yankees Blog | Chad Jennings: Andrew Miller said there is no single moment when he felt his injury, but that it steadily built over the course of the last few weeks.  He seems to think it's a "fatigue" issue, but will it really be that simple?

NY Daily News | Mitch Abramson: According to Ivan Nova, he's "ready to go." However, Joe Girardi was quick to temper expectations, saying that Nova would be evaluated after his next start, which comes on Saturday for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

New York Post | Mike Vaccaro: All year long, the Yankees have been able to depend on the back of their bullpen.  Now, with Andrew Miller on his way to the disabled list, will Dellin Betances and the rest of the Yankees relief arms be able to pick up the slack?

Washington Post | James Wagner: After his first game in Yankee Stadium, Bryce Harper (a childhood Yankee fan) was asked about his future free agency, and unfortunately didn't say anything to hint that he might be looking to move to the Yankees.  But we can always dream, right?
