New York Post | George King III: Ivan Nova threw 35 pitches in extended spring training on his way back from Tommy John surgery. He is scheduled to throw 30 more pitches on Monday before the Yankees start his 30-day rehab clock.

Newsday | Cody Derespina: Pitching prospect Brady Lail was struck in the jaw by a line drive in his start for the Trenton Thunder on Monday. Lail was able to walk off the field under his own power, and later tweeted that he was doing fine.

CBS Sports | R.J. White: Masahiro Tanaka threw a 30-pitch bullpen session on Tuesday as he continues to work his way back from a small forearm strain and wrist tendinitis. Tanaka said through a translator that he was able to throw all of his pitches without discomfort.
