ESPN New York | Andrew Marchand: Esmil Rogers could have a real shot at joining the rotation now that Capuano is injured. Joe Girardi even changed his plans and traveled with the team to Dunedin yesterday to watch Rogers' start, but he doesn't expect to make that decision for another two weeks.

New York Post | Kevin Kernan: Michael Pineda seems to have grown up a lot after last year's pine tar incident and has taken on somewhat of a leadership role in the clubhouse. | Ryan Hatch: There's been a lot of talk about how Alex Rodriguez would do in his return from such a long break from baseball, and so far, he's shown that he can still swing the bat (he's hitting .375 with a double and a home run so far). He's also shown that his speed has dropped, which could prevent him from seeing any time in the field this season, though Girardi acknowledged that lateral movement is different from running speed.

New York Post | Dan Martin: The Yankees have been taking their time with CC Sabathia's knee rehab, and he's finally set to make his spring training debut on Tuesday night against the Blue Jays.
