New York Post | George A King III: With the Yankees standing pat on not moving Aaron Judge, Luis Severino, or Gary Sanchez, their exploratory talks for Shelby Miller look to be dead in the water.

NJ.com | Brendan Kuty: Jeff Samardzija was thought to be a potential bargain this offseason, but he apparently has a $100 million offer on the table.  Does that make him too expensive for the Yankees to add?

ESPN New York | Wallace Matthews: Expect the Yankees to remain quiet on the free agent market during the Winter Meetings, even with holes in the rotation and at second base still to fill.  It is still probably a year or two too early for the Yankees to begin shelling out any serious contracts.
