NBC Sports | Craig Calcaterra: The Mets are heading to the World Series and they don't want any Yankees fans jumping on their bandwagon.

ESPN | Andrew Marchand: Marchand and Wallace Matthews use Michael Pineda and Rob Refsnyder in a bit of a no-brainer "take 'em or trash 'em" debate in which the pair obviously decides the team should keep Pineda and move Refsnyder.

Wall Street Journal | Andrew Beaton: Former Yankee Don Mattingly is out as the Dodgers manager, but he likely won't end up back in New York. Donnie Baseball still intends to pursue managerial jobs, and could find himself managing the Marlins next season.

LoHud | Chad Jennings: Baseball America's prospect rankings shed some light on what the current state of the Yankees' farm system is, like that shortstop has become a position of strength and the system as a whole isn't nearly as bottom-heavy as it used to be.
