New York Times | Richard Sandomir: WPIX will air 20 Yankees games in 2015, bringing the team back to the station it was on from 1951 to 1998. | James Kleimann: A five-alarm fire in New Jersey has cost radio announcer John Sterling his home. Hundreds of residents were displaced by the fire but luckily there were no injuries reported.

New York Daily News | Anthony McCarron: Alex Rodriguez being back on the books means that the Yankees won't be chasing James Shields this offseason.

Hardball Talk | Aaron Gleeman: Johan Santana's comeback attempt has been halted after the pitcher was shut down with shoulder problems. The Yankees were among the teams monitoring Santana in the Venezuelan Winter League.

LoHud | Chad Jennings: Which players have the potential to be the next franchise icons? Unsurprisingly, Masahiro Tanaka tops the list. Brett Gardner is included as well.
