Yankees vs. Angels preview: Going for four in a row

The Yankees continue to battle against the AL West, this time at home against the Angels with Nathan Eovaldi on the mound against Jered Weaver. Weaver has settled in recently after getting off to a fairly poor start to 2015. The Yankees are fresh off a sweep of the Mariners and are looking to extend their winning streak to four games. Eovaldi's last start was one the Yankees won, but he was hurt by 11 singles in less than five innings.

Brian McCann returns to the lineup after leaving Wednesday's game with a foot injury. Carlos Beltran, however, will be sitting out with a sore foot. The Yankees also announced today that they would be skipping Michael Pineda's next start to try and get control of his innings total. Joe Girardi says the big right-hander is healthy, but they'd like to do something to fix the fact that he's on pace for 220 innings this season. With off days all over the place it shouldn't be a huge deal.
