The Yankees have now won nine games in a row, and are looking to make it an even 10 against the Houston Astros. This will be a rematch of the 2017 ALCS, which saw New York fall just one win from a World Series appearance. Now, in 2018, the Yankees are going to want to get a little payback. Now that both teams are doing well this year, this four-game series is sure to be a wild one.
The one thing the Yankees have going against them is that Sonny Gray will take the mound. Despite good things being expected form him, the 28-year-old right-hander has a 7.71 ERA across five starts so far. Worse yet is he hasn’t made it through five innings in his last three starts, so if this team wants to keep winning, it might have to come down to the offense and the bullpen

Aaron Judge gets the night off and Gary Sanchez will be the team’s DH, so they won’t be rolling with their A-lineup. Hopefully Didi Gregorius can keep doing what he’s doing in order to keep this team in the win column.
