The Yankees are now in their last full week of spring training games before the start of the season. Division rivals the Tampa Bay Rays come into town to face something of a bullpen day from the Yankees. David Hale is set to start the 6:35 PM game.
Everyone in tonight’s starting lineup could make the team for Opening Day. About half of them—guys like Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, and Didi Gregorius—are projected to be starters, with the rest as potential bench pieces. There is enough room on the roster to take two of Tyler Wade Ronald, Torreyes, and Tyler Austin.

Tyler McKinney is the most notable bench player expected to get into tonight’s game. He is on the cusp of locking up a roster spot as long as Jacoby Ellsbury stays injured. We could also see Chasen Shreve, Dellin Betances, Chad Green, Tommy Kahnle, and Adam Warren get some innings.
