Hello, and welcome to spring training 2018. Today is the first day of live baseball since the last out of the 2017 World Series, so we all know how exciting this is going to be. The Yankees managed to make it to the ALCS, where they were one win away from the World Series. Now, they have Giancarlo Stanton and increased expectations. Can they make it happen this year?
The lineup is something of a combination of Opening Day quality and spring training silliness. We will also get the added gift of seeing Stanton play for the Yankees for the first time. Interestingly, top prospects Gleyber Torres and Miguel Andujar get the start, though no one will likely stay in the game for long.
