The Yankees and Astros face off as we begin the last week of spring training. This game will not be televised because MLB hates us. Nathan Eovaldi will start for New York while Alex Rodriguez will get his first crack at first base and Rob Refsynder is scheduled to DH. Esmil Rogers will also come out of the bullpen, showing that he's pretty much out of consideration for the fifth starter spot, though no official announcement has been made yet.
To make Adam Warren's ascension in the rotation even more likely, the Yankees have optioned Kyle Davies and Bryan Mitchell to Triple-A and have also released Scott Baker. The recently released Jared Burton has been brought back in on a minor league deal and Brian Cashman is hopeful they can retain Baker as well.
On the injury front, Didi Gregorius says his injury is nothing to worry about and he should be fine in a few days. He'll take batting practice on Tuesday and get back into games on Wednesday just in time for Opening Day on April 6.
