After giving up four runs in the top of the first inning, Charleston had to mount a comeback in the late innings to send the game to extra innings. The game was scoreless until Brooklyn got on the board first in the sixth inning. Staten Island immediately answered with a run of their own in the seventh, but Brooklyn scored a walk-off victory in the 10th to hand the Yankees their seventh loss of the season.
