Ramirez was brilliant in his third Triple-A start and his offense gave him plenty of cushion. The RailRiders got out to a 2-0 lead in the second inning before tacking on three more runs in the top of the ninth. SWB takes on the Chiefs again today at 5:00 pm with a second game to follow.

Pineda's third rehab appearance drew all kinds of praise and he combined with Rondon to shut down the SeaWolves' offense. According to Pineda, he'll make another start for Trenton on Sunday, which could be his last rehab outing. Nik Turley starts for the Thunder today at 12:05 pm.

The Yankees piled on four runs in the fifth and the eighth innings after jumping out to an early 1-0 lead in the first. Clearwater wouldn't have a chance to come back in the bottom of the ninth after the game was called for rain with a comfortable lead for Tampa. Former reliever Dietrich Enns starts for Tampa today at 7:00 pm against Daytona.

Rutckyj had a pretty disastrous game and took his team out of this one early. The Drive tallied 15 hits and the RiverDogs couldn't get anything going to match it, only picking up six hits of their own. Vicente (Jose) Campos gets the start for Charleston tonight at 7:05 pm.

This game was suspended in the fifth inning because the Yankees' stadium lost power and will be completed at a later time. The Yankees take on the Renegades tonight at 7:05 pm.

Notes from the Gulf Coast League:

GCL Yankees 1 picked up 15 hits in their 9-5 win over the GCL Phillies. Tyler Wade was 2-3 with a double, an RBI, and a strikeout. Gosuke Katoh was 3-5 with a double, and Christopher Breen picked up two doubles and three RBI. Austin Aune picked up two hits to go with two strikeouts and Jordan Barnes went 1-5.

GCL Yankees 2 beat the GCL Braves 7-1, thanks to a five-run sixth inning. Adonis Garcia and Nathan Mikolas were both 2-4. Dalton Smith picked up a single and struck out three times. Rony Bautista pitched five innings of one-hit, no-run ball while racking up eight strikeouts.
