As we continue to amble through the offseason, things continue to feel unsettled. The Yankees’ offseason still has an unfinished feel to it, and they’re rumored to be involved on a number of fronts, but none of it feels as solid as their pursuits of Juan Soto (successful!) and Yoshinobu Yamamoto (unsuccessful!). Hopefully the next week or so gives us more clarity as to whether they’re looking to add to their pitching staff via free agency, the trade market, both, or neither.

We’ve got a nice wide range of content for your perusal today. Kevin starts us off with a look back at the Yankees-Athletics trade history, while Josh continues a recent theme, as he discusses his own fan origins. Matt also remembers the great Mel Stottlemyre, and later, Matt goes over some Yankee uniform numbers that could, in theory, get a collective retirement treatment, while Casey takes on the topic of... a Yankees mascot?

Questions/Prompts:

1. Do you think the Yankees are more likely to make a free agent signing to add to their rotation, or to make a trade to do so?

2. How much will Shōta Imanaga sign for?
