Your Sunday rundown.

MLB: Los Angeles Angels at New York Yankees Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

We are exactly one month out from the very start of spring training, with Yankees pitchers and catchers set to report on February 14. Pitchers and catchers day is typically pretty underwhelming, but when we’re mired in the middle of winter, pining for footage of baseball players stretching in Florida is about as good as we’ve got. That, and waiting to see if the Yankees have any more major moves planned for the rest of the offseason.

On the site today, warm up with John’s analysis of the trade history between a pair of rivals, the Yankees and Orioles. Also, John goes through this week’s Yankees social media, while Casey continues our Top 100 series as we get closer and closer to the top, with a deep dive on the great Lefty Gomez.

Questions/Prompts:

1. How likely are the Yankees to add another impact pitcher this winter?

2. Will any of the remaining top-three free agents according to MLB Trade Rumors beat their contract projections according to MLBTR? The top three are Cody Bellinger (pegged for $264 million), Blake Snell ($200 million), and Jordan Montgomery ($150 million).
