We finally got a bit of movement on the free agent market! After Yoshinobu Yamamoto signed with the Dodgers, NPB pitcher Shōta Imanaga became the top NPB starter available. He is reportedly going to the Cubs, which I did not exactly see coming.

Today on the site, Sam will look back at the highlights of Yankees long trade history with a Cleveland franchise that they’ve been dealing with for over 120 years now. Later, Noah will do a semi-midoffseason check-in on the comings & goings of the Yankees’ AL East rivals, and old friend Matt Provenzano will pinch-hit in the Top 100 series on a forgotten Hall of Fame center fielder. Later, Peter will offer up a cautionary tale to the Yankees of Miguel Andújar and Clint Frazier in relation to their current prospects.

1. Were you surprised to see Imanaga go to the Cubs?

2. Did you watch any of the Michigan/Washington CFB championship game?
