Last night, the ever-enigmatic Gleyber Torres put on an display of poor baseball judgement throughout the game. He was thrown out once at third and once at second in situations where he didn't need to do so. He booted a double-play ball. Then, on a ground out, he threw to second to get the lead runner, but was (of course) late, and the runner was safe.
Torres is a skilled ballplayer and has real value on the trade market. His mental gaffe's, however, are hard to take. It's time to investigate trades. Peraza can problem just be plugged in at 2nd. Perhaps we could get a decent starter or a package of relievers and prospects for him.
