Juan Soto is still a Yankee. So that’s good!

Thursday was relatively quiet in Yankees Universe after a rollercoaster Wednesday that finally saw New York acquire Juan Soto. I think that’s permissible given how chaotic it got in the evening as we awaited word of the Padres’ physicals. The collective breath has been taken! Let’s roll on.

Today on the site, Sam will chip in with his analysis of the Juan Soto addition, Malachi will consider the Cardinals’ Dakota Hudson as a potential free agent target, and Kevin will continue the Top 100 series with a look back at somewhat-forgotten Yankees infielder Roger Peckinpaugh, the youngest manager in team history. Later on, Casey will discuss the complications of Alex Verdugo and Kunj will bid adieu to the Yankees traded to San Diego in the Soto deal, particularly Michael King.

Questions/Prompts:

1. If you had to bet on one traded Yankee’s future, who would it be?

2. Think the Orioles will actually extend any of their young stars?
