MLB Trade Rumors | Mark Polishuk: Isiah Kiner Falefa’s run in the Bronx was interesting. Depending on your expectations, he was a decent player. In 2023 in particular, he was a reliable utility man who stayed healthy while moving around the field. Toronto will hope he brings the same for the next two seasons. Should Matt Chapman decline to return to Toronto, IKF will look to get decent playing time at third.

The Athletic ($) | Jayson Stark: We all lived through the dog days that were the Yankees’ 2023 summer. They went on a month-long stretch of not winning a single series until they ran into some luck against the Tigers. Stark stated that their 10 straight series without a series victory was the longest stretch since 1991. The team was historically terrible.

USA Today | Camille Fine: You’re cleaning out your grandfathers’ old trinkets. You find some old baseball cards. They are all fantastic, of course. However, you stumble upon over a dozen century-old cards. They include four Babe Ruths, a few Ty Cobbs, and some more iconic cards. Talk about a Christmas miracle. The Northern California man who stumbled across these plans to sell them at auction next month. He’s got a boatload coming to him.
