Today on Pinstripe Alley - 7/29/22

The Yankees’ offense didn’t do much last night, but their MVP did MVP things. It’s nice to have!

Aaron Judge, amirite? The guy is unbelievable. The last time a Yankee won the MVP was 2007, when Alex Rodriguez completely took over the American League, and this is exactly what it feels like. Somehow, even Judge’s 2017 doesn’t compare. He’s incredible.

Today on the site, Madison will review how the Yankees’ rivals fared, Esteban will consider how Andrew Benintendi’s batted-ball profile might play at Yankee Stadium, and John will brush past the Benintendi trade to argue for the Yanks to pick up Ian Happ anyway. Later on, Jeff will offer his analysis on the Benintendi deal, John will make a case for reliever Buck Farmer, and Madison will answer your mailbag questions.
