Since baseball shut down in March of last year, we have kept you posted on what the Yankees have been up to on social media. Although baseball is getting back to normal, it’s still fun to check in our favorite players and Yankee figures, so we will continue to do so throughout 2021. Here’s your weekly update on what your favorite Yankees have been doing on social media!
Derek Jeter inducted into Hall of Fame
This past week, former Yankees captain Derek Jeter was officially inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Jeter obviously played his entire career with the Yankees, made 14 All-Star Games, won five World Series Championships, along with a laundry list of other achievements. Some of his former teammates congratulated him on social media and Jeter even thanked the fans for the support during his legendary career.
Former teammate Bernie Williams went one step beyond, playing the national anthem in Cooperstown and narrating the Hall of Fame’s introductory video before Jeter took the stage:

She said yes! Congratulations to Jordan Montgomery and his new fiancé, McKenzie, as the two just recently got engaged. Not only has Monty had a good season on the mound, but now his year just got all that much better.
