Yankees Social Media Spotlight: Aaron Judge meets with cancer survivor

Judge is not only a great baseball player, but is also a great person off the field.

Since baseball shut down in March of last year, we have kept you posted on what the Yankees have been up to on social media. Although baseball is getting back to normal, it’s still fun to check in our favorite players and Yankee figures, so we will continue to do so throughout 2021. Here’s your weekly update on what your favorite Yankees have been doing on social media!

Aaron Judge meets cancer surviver

Is there anything Aaron Judge doesn’t do? The Yankees outfielder met up with a four-time cancer survivor named Mason, who actually lives near Judge’s hometown in California. The two met up after a game against the Athletics and were able to hang out and talk. 99 also gave Mason a signed jersey before leaving. Props to Judge for the awesome gesture!

Luis Severino welcomes newborn son, Luis Severino Jr.

In July, the Yankee pitcher and his wife welcomed their second-born child into the world. The couple named their first son after his father, Luis. Congratulations to the Severino’s on their beautiful addition to their family!
