Your rundown for a Tuesday.

MLB: New York Yankees at Kansas City Royals Peter Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

In this space three days ago, I wrote that the Yankees were winning despite taking on water. Well, in the interim, the Yankees have won two more games, and taken on even more water. It makes one wonder how many more injuries and COVID infections this club can sustain before it keels over, but nonetheless, they’ll send Nestor Cortes to the mound tonight with a chance to win a series in Kansas City.

On the site, Emma runs down all the reasons it’s easy to love Nestor Cortes, Dan highlights the best from last week on the farm, Jesse dives deep on Gleyber Torres, John compares the Yankees to the 2015 Blue Jays, and Andrew and Kunj bring us another episode of the PSA podcast.
