The Yankees may have squandered an opportunity to sweep yesterday, but it’s a new day. One where they’re facing off against one of the better teams in the entire league, on the road, but a new day nonetheless. While the Mariners were sort of a faceless opponent, the Astros have plenty of history with these Yankees, so this is about as good of a matchup as you could ask for outside of the AL East. Hopefully the Bombers stay awake for it.

Before that marquee match begins, we’ll have some content to tide you over. Cooper will preview the series against Houston, complete with every pitching matchup and starting time. Dan looks into the Washington Nationals to see if they could serve as a useful trade partner, while Andrés looks back at the Yanks’ 2019 draft class to see who has separated themselves from the pack. Finally, I’ll be opening up the mailbag to answer more of your questions.
