Weather and circumstance has the Yankees in a position where they can suddenly win a series against Boston.

The Yankees apparently heard my pleas yesterday, finally ending their winless drought against the Red Sox. Mother Nature even gave an assist, providing rain throughout the game that became an absolute downpour right after New York had taken the lead. Hey, sometimes its better to be lucky than good. The Yanks were definitely the former, and if they can take this series against Boston they might be able to convince themselves that they’re the latter as well.
