Since baseball shut down in March of last year, we have kept you posted on what the Yankees have been up to on social media. Although baseball is gradually getting back to normal, it’s still fun to check in our favorite players and Yankee figures, so we will continue to do so throughout 2021. Here’s your weekly update on what your favorite Yankees have been doing on social media!
Happy Mother’s Day from the Yankees!
Happy Mother’s Day! We saw posts from a few players today. Luke Voit, who will soon be a father, wished his wife an early happy Mother’s Day with a baby on the way. Mike King and Jameson Taillon also gave shout outs-to their mothers on their special day.

Former Yankee CC Sabathia also took a moment both his wife and his own mother on the holiday.
Taillon congratulates Kluber
The two newer arms on the starting rotation have been clicking on and off the field, especially Corey Kluber. This past week, the “Klubot” picked up his 100th career MLB win! Taillon took to Twitter to congratulate his teammate.
Congrats to @CKluber on his 100th win yesterday! What a game from start to finish! Execution machine throughout the day. Can’t wait to watch more of that

Tanaka jokes about the Astros
In case you live under a rock, the Houston Astros were in the Bronx from Tuesday-Thursday in what was their first series against the Yankees since the cheating scandal was uncovered. The fans were ruthless and let the Astros hear their displeasure with them. Some fans brought inflatable trash cans to the game, but they were taken away by security. Former Yankees pitcher Masahiro Tanaka got a kick out of it. His tweet reads: “I like the place where different fans give beer quickly to the fans who picked up the trash can.”
ゴミ箱を取り上げられたファンに対して違うファンの方がスッとビールをあげるところ好き https://t.co/bnstN79UmA
