How many times can a team hit rock bottom in one season? When the Yankees started the year 5-10, most of us hoped that they’d sunk as low as they could go, and for a while, it looked like they had. The team is still easily clear of .500, but a sweep at the hands of one of the worst teams in the majors feels like another brush with the bottom.
To provide some distraction the horrors on the field, on the site, Jon provides a, well, sobering analysis on Corey Kluber’s injury (optimists avert your eyes). John takes a look at All-Star voting, and Peter the most notable Yankee performances on Memorial Day, while also previewing the upcoming series with the Rays.
