A look through our lineup to get you through a Yankee-less Monday.

Detroit Tigers v New York Yankees Photo by Mike Stobe/Getty Images

The last three days have been exactly what the doctor prescribed for the Yankees. A hapless Tigers team crawled into Yankees Stadium and limped their way out after getting battered around and shut out twice in three games. Gerrit Cole’s gem was to be expected, but Corey Kluber’s eight-inning dominant performance was truly a welcome sight. The team is back to .500 and looking vastly different than the last time they were home, but now they get a day off before facing real competition in the Houston Astros.

To get you through the day of no baseball in the Bronx, we’ve got you covered with some content. Dan starts the day off by previewing the remaining notable bats in the minor league system, while Jon details why Luke Voit’s health will be complicated coming off of his knee injury. Matt provides the series preview for the Astros, Kevin completes the second half of his dive into Richard Nixon’s baseball connections, and I’ll open up the mailbag for more of your submissions.

Today’s Matchup:

Off-day.

Fun Questions:

1. Is Aroldis Chapman’s career peaking or is he finding a career-renaissance?

2. What’s your confidence level in Corey Kluber after his latest gem?
