The last three days have been exactly what the doctor prescribed for the Yankees. A hapless Tigers team crawled into Yankees Stadium and limped their way out after getting battered around and shut out twice in three games. Gerrit Cole’s gem was to be expected, but Corey Kluber’s eight-inning dominant performance was truly a welcome sight. The team is back to .500 and looking vastly different than the last time they were home, but now they get a day off before facing real competition in the Houston Astros.
