We all got a breather yesterday, with the Yankees finally taking an off-day after a breakneck stretch of baseball. The Yankees suffered injuries, made history, and did a whole lot of winning while playing 13 games in as many days. After a moment to reset, they’re back at it tonight with the start of a three-game set with the rival Blue Jays. Corey Kluber is slated to make his first appearance since throwing a no-hitter in Texas.
On the site, Andrés will discuss how the next few weeks of performance from Brett Gardner, and Estevan Florial, will go a long way in determining the Yankees’ next steps regarding their center field situation. We’ll also see the latest edition of the PSA podcast, Dan runs down the week three minor league review, and Jon examines the Yankees’ (relative) power outage so far.
Today’s Matchup:
New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays
Time: 7:05 p.m. EST
TV: YES, SNET-1
Radio: WFAN 660/101.9 FM, WADO 1280
Venue: Yankee Stadium
Fun Questions:
1. Who’s more likely to take the AL East, the Yankees, or the field?
2. With six (or seven?) no-hitters down already this year, how likely do you think it is another Yankee could throw a no-hitter?
