Today on Pinstripe Alley - 5/19/21

Here’s your hump day rundown.

MLB: New York Yankees at Texas Rangers Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Dropping games to lesser teams is always frustrating, which is why it’s nice the Yankees bounced back from Monday’s sleepy loss with a win last night. The victory gave them a 23-19 record and a shot at continuing their streak of series wins, though they’ll have to take each of the final two contests in this four-game set with the Rangers. They’ll like their chances tonight as they send Corey Kluber to the mound.

Before first pitch, we’ll see Andrew and Kunj provide the latest episode of the PSA podcast, while John checks in on the rest of the AL East. Erica also gives us an interesting look at David Cone’s pitching commentary on the YES Network broadcast, and Tom analyzes Domingo Germán’s impressive play over recent weeks.

Fun Questions:

1. If the Yankees were to make one move, would you rather see them trade for an impact bat or arm?

2. DJ LeMahieu has just three dingers on the year. Do you expect him to recapture some of his power stroke from the last two seasons?
