Yahoo! | Conor Foley: Zack Britton is one step closer toward returning to the Yankees. On Saturday afternoon, the lefty reliever threw a sim game against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders hitters at PNC Field. Britton had needed surgery on his throwing elbow over the offseason to remove a bone chip. The New York bullpen has been dominant thus far, but adding Britton would only make it that much better. Next up? A rehab stint in Somerset, beginning Wednesday.

Sports Illustrated | Max Goodman: Trevor Story has been, and will continue to be in trade rumors up until the trade deadline. MLB.com listed five different teams that he could be dealt to in 2021, and the Yankees were one of them. If he were to make his way to the Bronx, the Yanks would need to shuffle the infield a bit, and Brian Cashman may have to get creative to meet ownership’s luxury tax mandate.

NY Post | Joel Sherman: Gerrit Cole, Giancarlo Stanton, and Aroldis Chapman are the highest-paid Yankees in 2021. The three of them have all had stellar years to say the least. What could their Hall of Fame cases look like when they call it quits? Given Cole’s durability, and Stanton’s shortcomings in that area, the right-hander feels like he should have a shot when all is said and done.

MLB.com | Betelhem Ashame: In a recent effort to break out of his slump, Clint Frazier tweaked his batting stance again, as he’s dropped his hands on the bat to try and avoid being late on his cuts. Frazier hopes that the change — inspired by aimless late-night thoughts while lying in bed and incorporated into practice by coach Marcus Thames — will help him use his legs a little bit more and give him a better approach. Fingers crossed.

YES Network | Jack Curry via Twitter: Lastly, the Yankees are reportedly making a roster move soon, as Aaron Hicks will be placed on the injured list and Ryan LaMarre will come up from Triple-A. You can read more about it in our story here.
