Good morning and I hope you had a relaxing off-day because the Yankees are back to business tonight. They’ll face the Rays at the dreaded Trop and try not to have it all end in disaster. It’s important to have a positive outlook, right? (At least Luke Voit should probably be with the team in St. Pete.)
As a programming note, there will be no minors recap today, or for the vast majority of Tuesdays throughout the season. That’s because all of Triple-A, Double-A, High-A, and Low-A are taking days off on Mondays — each team plays a six-game series and then travels or rests on Monday. In lieu of a minors recap every Tuesday, Dan will present a look at the best and worst performances from Yankees prospects during the previous week.
Elsewhere on the site, Kunj and I will have the latest edition of the Pinstripe Alley Podcast, and John will provide an update on the Yankees currently on the injured list. Later on, Cooper will appraise Aaron Boone’s bullpen management thus far, and Jon will compare Giancarlo Stanton’s excellent start to how he began his MVP season with the Marlins in 2017 — it’s closer than you might expect.
Today’s Matchup:
New York Yankees at Tampa Bay Rays
Time: 7:10 p.m. EST
TV: YES, Bally Sports Sun, ESPN (out-of-market only)
Radio: WFAN 660/101.9 FM, WADO 1280

Fun Questions:
1. Assuming that both Luke Voit and Gio Urshela are back in the lineup, how would you arrange it tonight?
2. Former Yankee Todd Frazier was designated for assignment by the Pirates yesterday. After that low, his career is probably just about over, right? Or do you think he has one more run in him?
