One homestand later, and the Yankees are heading up in the standings. A 7-2 stretch will help any club, but especially one in the competitive AL East race. The Yankees are still not at the top, but they currently are keeping pace with the rest of the pack. May’s been a world of a difference from April so far, and that’s about as much as you could ask for now.
The team has been playing better, but there’s still plenty that could be improved on. Namely, some of the team’s bats are still down below their standards. When could we see a full-powered offense clicking all at once? Will Luke Voit make an instant impact on his return? If you’ve got questions like this, or any other concern, send them in for a chance to be featured in our Yankees mailbag.
Answers will run on Friday morning. All questions received by the night of May 13th will be considered. You can leave your submissions in the comment section below or by e-mail to pinstripealleyblog [at] gmail [dot] com.
