After game one of the series, I’m thinking that a date with the Tigers could be just what the Yankees needed to really get on track. The Bombers crushed an overmatched Detroit squad last night, and they’ll get right back at it today at 1:05 EST. Jameson Taillon is slated to face off with Spencer Turnbull. If the team can string together a few wins against the Tigers, they could claw back to .500 and essentially hit reset after an uneven start to this campaign.
On the site, Jon previews outfield prospect Brandon Lockridge’s season, Cooper breaks down another change Clint Frazier has tried, and John looks at how dominant the pitching has been across the AL East so far. Elsewhere, Andres analyzes what Rougned Odor has done with the Yankees, and we’ll also see our Brian Cashman GM approval poll for the month of April.
