After a day off, Opening Day weekend rolls on with the second game of the series against Toronto. The Yankees are looking to bounce back from a rough start to their season and get in the win column, and do so while backing up Corey Kluber as he makes his Yankees debut. This should be an exciting one, and it’ll kick off in the afternoon.

Until then, you can keep yourself occupied by checking out some of the pieces we’ve got for you today. Andrés looks into the aforementioned Kluber’s control concerns over spring training and shows how it’s not something to get worried about, while Dan brings in another minor league preview — this time featuring Kevin Alcantara. John sets a spotlight on the Opening Day COVID fiasco with the Nationals as a reminder that things are still not normal, even if we’re back to a “normal” season, and Cooper breaks down Gerrit Cole’s start from Thursday. Finally, Matt wraps things up by taking a trip back to the weirdest Opening Days the Yankees have faced across their long history.
