Feels like I’ve been saying this for a while, but let’s hope the Yankees have hit rock bottom. They looked listless again last night, and are digging themselves deeper into their own hole. They’re working through a pretty important part of their schedule if they intend to quickly get the ship righted; after a four-game set with a middling Cleveland team, they get seven games against the lowly Orioles and Tigers next week. This also represents a long early-season stretch without an off-days. With luck, we’ll look back on this run as the period where the team got it together.
On the site, Tom previews the season for the Yankees’ 2018 first-round pick, Anthony Seigler, Matt previews the upcoming series with Cleveland, and John looks at the Yankees’ defense at first base. Cooper will also analyze some positive signs from Aaron Judge’s start.
