The Yankees return to action against Atlanta tonight.

That off-day was much-appreciated. Yes, the Yankees just had one the Thursday prior to getting embarrassed by the Rays at home, but still — it was nice to not have to worry about more futile infield grounders and popups for an evening. Hell, by first pitch, it will have been over 48 hours since that last out on Sunday. I might even feel optimistic about a Yankees win tonight!

Regardless, we’ll have a new podcast for you on the site today as Kunj and I bemoan the Yankees’ dispiriting struggles. Later on, Dan will preview the 2021 season of promising center field prospect Raimfer Salinas, Josh will research why the Yankees have been taking so many fastballs, and Joe will muse about the anticlimactic conclusion to the much-ballyhooed spring training battle of Jay Bruce vs. Mike Tauchman.

1. If you pick one Yankees regular to bench tonight despite the return to action, who would it be?

2. Let’s just cut to the chase — are the Yankees snapping their winning streak tonight?
