Today on Pinstripe Alley - 4/2/21

The Yankees are off after Opening Day, but we still have plenty to write about for your entertainment.

Well, Opening Day could’ve gone better, right? Although the Yankees’ hitters had their chances, the offense didn’t do a whole lot and they fell to the Blue Jays in extra innings, 3-2. They’ll have almost 48 hours to stew on it, as they’re off today until they resume the series on Saturday afternoon.

Pinstripe Alley rarely rests though, so we’ll be at it with a full slate of posts today. Ryan will answer your mailbag questions, Dan will begin our prospect season preview series with Albert Abreu, and Joe will ponder if the Francisco Lindor extension might reignite the old Subway Series rivalry. Later, Tom will look back on the greatest “Yankee Killers” who later joined the team, and Josh will conduct a thought experiment about a world where players could accept ownership shares.
