Things are decidedly not great with the Yankees right now. The team is on a four-game losing streak heading into their series finale with the Rays, looking for Gerrit Cole to save them from a sweep. A win today would go a long way towards resetting the atmosphere around the team heading into the last off-day of the month and a long stretch of games that are mostly outside of the AL East.
It’s a contemplative day on the site pregame. Josh starts us off with an editorial on how the Yankees are suffering from their own design flaw, and Erica follows with a look into why the Yankees’ budget moves adjusting the infield have been poorly made. Andrew provides a preview on Hoy Jun Park’s 2021 season down in the minors, and later on, Joe will have the weekly social media spotlight.
