Here’s the preview for your Thursday reading.

Friends, I think we can all agree that the now-completed road trip was not a fun time. The Yankees went 2-4 down in Florida, and now head home to face off against the Rays again before finally getting some new competition. They’ll have a day to relax before that, and it couldn’t come at a better time: the Yankees are short an arm and need to wait a day to call up Michael King, plus it gets them to Gerrit Cole one game faster.

There are no off-days on the site of course, so let’s run through what we’ve got prepared for you. Dan starts off by critiquing the Yankees questionable 40-man roster management over the last few months, and John previews Trevor Lane’s season down in the minors. Joe highlights the job that the Yankees bullpen has done for the team over the first two weeks, Peter previews the full series coming up with the Rays, and finally Cooper breaks down Gio Urshela’s test run at shortstop.

Today’s Matchup:

Off-day.

Fun Questions:

1. Which non-Cole starter do you think will break out of their slump first?

2. If the Yankees are under .500 by the end of April, what odds would you give them to still make the postseason?
