Happy Monday everyone, we’ve arrived at an off day. The Yankees have been playing exhibition games for just over a week now, and sit at 4-3 on the whole, not that that record has much meaning. It’s been good to have actual baseball, and while it’s always hard to glean much from spring training games, we’ve already seen some interesting analysis of the play on the field, such as Josh’s in-depth look at Jameson Taillon’s new delivery from yesterday.
We’ll have more on the site today to keep you covered without any actual action. Dan will preview Kyle Higashioka’s 2021 season, Peter will discuss Gary Sánchez’s high leg kick, and we’ll also have a call for this week’s mailbag.
Fun Questions
1. Have any prospects in particular caught your eye so far in spring training?
2. Does the Jake Odorizzi signing cement the Astros as AL West favorites? Were they the favorites anyway before the signing?
