Good morning folks, hope your weekend went well. The Yankees’ spring training rolls on after a narrow loss to the Pirates, and today they’ll get a rematch with a Phillies team that absolutely destroyed them last time they met. The results don’t really matter, of course, but I think it’s safe to say New York is aiming for a better outing than a 15-0 shutout.
Josh will have you covered on the recap — and there will even be YES Network coverage this time! — later in the afternoon. He’s also got an article to start off the day going over Jameson Taillon’s revamped mechanics and how they should help him stay healthy for his Yankees tenure. Andrés gives us the latest season preview, this time featuring Aaron Hicks, and Joe provides the weekly social media spotlight.
Today’s Matchup

Fun Questions
1. Do you think that some of the lighthearted aspects of spring training games — like players on the broadcast for a half inning — would be nice to see occasionally during the regular season?
2. Who would be in your favorite YES booth to listen to?
